Human Cuckoo Clock

Yasuaki Shimizu's solo performance as part
of the Tokyo
Art Jungle mixed-media festival held from August 13 through 15 to
celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Tokyo International Forum. Every
hour on the hour, Shimizu as the "cuckoo
clock" rings in the time of day with saxophone performances (5-15 minutes
each) of Bach's Cello Suites from the heights of a catwalk in TIF's
impressive glass hall.

There He Goes
Hideo Yamaki's album produced by Yasuaki Shimizu
Japan's own cross-genre super drummer, Yamaki, in his first album in
nine years. Following Tentelletsque in 1990's and Shadow Run in 1993, this is
Yamaki's third full-length release.
